Apacer prides itself on being an ESG-conscious manufacturer, and participates in events in Taiwan aimed at sustainability. For two years, Apacer has cooperated with the Nantou Branch of the Department of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, adopting coffee trees at the Goodfun Coffee Farm in Gukeng, Yunlin. There, coffee beans are grown and harvested, some of which are given as seasonal gifts to Apacer’s customers and supplier partners to share the pure flavor of locally-grown coffee.

Apacer Chairman Austin Chen and President C. K. Chang went to the Goodfun Coffee Estate on December 18th to conduct an adoption and listing ceremony with Chen Tsun-Kai, the Deputy Director, and Hammer Lai, the owner. Chairman Chen noted that Goodfun’s coffee trees follow eco-friendly farming methods and maintain the diversity of ecological species and protect environmental habitats. This was an important consideration when deciding to cooperate. The cooperation ensures the coffee farm remains profitable while also implementing ecological sustainability, promoting local industries, and fulfilling corporate ESG sustainable development responsibilities.
