Q1. My computer can’t recognize the HDD/SSD enclosure?
A1: 1-1. The insufficient power of USB port or USB hub might be caused the drive detection failed, especially your drive capacity is over 1TB or above. Please change a USB port, use USB Y-Cable or external power.
1-2. HDD / SSD has not partitioned and formatted, refer to Q2.
Q2. How to re-initial and format HDD/SSD of hard drive enclosure?
A2: Right click on Computer, select “Manage”, then open “Disk Management” in“Storage” of opened windows. The pop-up windows will come up and suggest a new drive need to be initialized. Please select the disks and click OK.

Step1. Choose initialize type as “MBR” or “GPT”.
Notes:A. If you are mounting a drive which is not larger than 2TB (Include 2TB) and use on a Windows Vista or earlier operation system, initialize with partition style MBR is recommended.
B. If you are mounting a drive which larger than 3TB (Include 3TB), please initialize with partition style GPT, otherwise you will get 2TB of the drive applicable only but the rest capacity will be unable to use.
C. If you closed this Windows by mistake or the Windows have never come up, Right Click on the “Disk Number” and select “Initialize Disk” will get the Windows come up.
Step2. Right click on the "Disk Number" and select "Initialize Disk".
Step3. The unallocated drive need to be format.
Step4. Right click on unallocated new drive, select "New Simple Volume" and start to add a new volume and format process.
Step5. Next
Step6. Click “Next” directly, if you don’t need to partition the device.
Step7. Assign a new drive letter for the new volume.
Step8. Format your new volume. You can set the file system (NTFS, exFAT or FAT32), and allocation unit size and volume label can be set as default. Perform a quick format is recommended. Please click "Next" when everything is configured.
Step9. Click "Finish" will start to format the volume.
Step10. The formatting process will take about 5 to 30 seconds. When the formatting is done, the new volume will be ready for application.
Q3. When I copy a file to the hard drive, it occurred error.
A3: You need to reformat the hard drive as “NTFS” or “exFAT” because the issue is caused by file system limitation.
NTFS & exFAT: No files size limitation.
FAT & FAT32: Single file size <4GB.
Q4. My TV, TV Box, multimedia box, PS4, PS5, etc.. can’t recognized the device?
A4: 4-1. Please clarify the power supply first.
4-2. Confirm your file system of hard drive is compatible with your application device.
4-3. Confirm your application device is support your storage capacity.
